I found an article outlining what we already know. The E-Verify system has a lot of flaws. Some of these flaws include the fact that not all unauthorized workers are detected, and that a lot of errors of authorized workers prevent authorized workers from working.
Another flaw highlighted by the article is that according to Bloomberg News Service, making E-Verify mandatory will cost $2.7 billion a year for businesses. Noting that small businesses account for 99.7% of employers.
